NOTES
This set of processes has helped
thousands of people within organizations, over more than fifty years, to face
the harshness of their work, often without being audited in any other way. It
was not placed on the Bridge for the public, but any member of staff was aware
of them and applied it.
It's what you might call a
"free auditing" and so it wasn't applied to the public. We see that
many Free Zone groups maintain them as a permanent form of self-processing and
increased abilities as thetans.
Before doing the processes for the
first time read and clarify the whole text so that when you do them, you can do
them in sequence with no doubts.
They are easy processes and do not
require any prior training beyond the basics of Scientology (thetan,
exteriorization, etc.).
HOW TO DO IT
This set of six processes applies to
any case. They are self-processing techniques and are unlimited,
that is, they can be done at any point of the bridge and repeated always with
case gains.
They are essentially intended to
increase thetan ability to be, give him more "life" and markedly
improve the case.
They may be confused with other
existing techniques or mysticisms, but don't confuse them. They are so simple
that you can overlook their depth.
They are made one after the other, spending little time with each.
Sit or lie down for half or an hour, doing the whole
set in each session, once a day, for two weeks.
Go through the six processes giving each one a few minutes and moving on to the
next.
Take the steps as they are given
here, without daydreams or philosophical cogitations. Don't let the
"circuits" interfere.
The processes are done in the same
way whether you are exteriorized or not.
The six steps are:
(1) Ten Minutes of Nothing.
(2) Duplication.[i]
(3) Spacation.[ii]
(4) Contact.[iii]
(5) Self-Analysis.[iv]
(6) The opposite pole.
Don't spend more than ten minutes
with each. DO THEM ALL IN THE SAME SESSION.
THE PROCESSES
(1)
TEN MINUTES OF NOTHING.
The tendency to complicate is inherent in homo sapiens.
Ron quotes Lao-Tse (a Chinese Taoist philosopher who lived from 570 to
490 B.C.) who said, " To gain knowledge, add things every day. To gain
wisdom, eliminate things every day."
This exercise is intended to train the person to confront "NOTHINGNESS"
in terms of the physical universe.
SITTING OR LYING DOWN, WITH YOUR EYES OPEN OR
CLOSED, TAKE YOUR ATTENTION AWAY FROM EVERYTHING AROUND YOU, TAKE THE
ATTENTION OUT OF YOUR MIND FOR TEN MINUTES.
The mind is constantly adding data whether it is aberrative or
analytical.
Gradually, with the repetition of the exercise, the person will manage
to be there and not have any thought, dispense with any perception, have no
image, etc.
Of course, there will be thoughts, but when the person detects them, he
withdraws attention from them and "empties" the mind by returning to
be only there confronting the "nothingness".
The exercise is ONLY that. Don't introduce more meanings,
cognitions, discoveries, NOTHING. Learn to be there without DOING ANYTHING,
without THINKING ANYTHING.
Of course, the higher up the Bridge you are, the easier it will be, as
you will have less mental "material". The exercise is both a training
and a process because it gives a glimpse of what is the STATE OF BEING at the
end of the bridge: simply BEING or the Serenity of BEING.
(2).
DUPLICATION.
Both the body and the spirit are permanently, and automatically, taking
photographs of everything, creating a DUPLICATE of the universe. It is this
DUPLICATE that he then perceives and which he calls the "PHYSICAL
UNIVERSE".
This step aims to put this automatism under the control of the person.
It has two parts.
a) WITH YOUR EYES OPEN, LOOK AT AN
OBJECT IN THE ROOM AND IMAGINE NEXT TO THE OBJECT A DUPLICATE (MOCK-UP) OF IT. REPEAT
MANY TIMES WITH SEVERAL OBJECTS, QUICKLY (LITTLE TIME WITH EACH ONE) WITHOUT
WORRYING WHETHER YOU ACTUALLY BUILT A DUPLICATE OR IF YOU JUST IMAGINED IT.
SPEND A FEW MINUTES WITH THIS.
b) DO THE SAME EXERCISE NOW WITH YOUR
EYES CLOSED: PERCEIVE AN OBJECT IN THE ROOM AND PLACE A DUPLICATE OF
THE OBJECT NEXT TO IT. REPEAT MANY TIMES WITH SEVERAL OBJECTS, QUICKLY (LITTLE
TIME WITH EACH ONE) WITHOUT WORRYING IF YOU PERCEIVED AND REALLY BUILT A
DUPLICATE OR IF YOU JUST IMAGINED IT. SPEND A FEW MINUTES WITH THIS.
In the beginning, select objects from the room.
Then, when you feel more confident, notice objects outside the
room, on the street, etc.
In the following sessions perceive the house next door and
duplicate it.
Widen your range of perception each time you do the six processes.
If you feel insecure whether you are perceiving it or not, do the
exercise as an "imagination."
Finally do the same with your body and body parts: see it (with your thetan
perceptions) from various angles and build duplicates next to each perceived
part.
(3)
SPACATION.
This is a specialized version of the first step. It has two parts:
a) The first step is: CLOSE YOUR EYES AND
FIND THE TOP TWO CORNERS OF THE ROOM BEHIND
YOU, STAY INTERESTED IN THEM AND DO NOT THINK.
This
will put you in present time because, as the "circuits" are never in
present time, they will shut down.
This
can be done for hours. No matter how bad you feel, whatever the reason, you
will always get better with it. But in this set it is used only for a few
minutes along with the other processes.
b) The second step is total spacing: IT IS
DONE BY CREATING EIGHT ANCHOR POINTS, (BOUNDARIES OF YOUR
SPACE) BYPASSING THE MEST, BUILDING AND USING YOUR OWN SPACE.
(4)
CONTACT.
The process has two parts:
a) SEE AND FEEL OR OTHERWISE PERCEIVE
OBJECTS IN THE ROOM. REACH THEM WITH YOUR HANDS AND THEN WALK AWAY FROM
THEM.
b) Repeat the same exercise, but as SPIRIT:
WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED SEE, FEEL, OR OTHERWISE PERCEIVE OBJECTS IN THE ROOM, REACH
FOR THEM AS A SPIRIT, AND MOVE AWAY FROM THEM.
(5)
SELF-ANALYSIS.
It is a process of mental constructions (Mock-ups). The list from
the book "Self-Analysis" is used:
The questions are asked in
battery, that is, the 3 questions, then again the 3, etc. until you feel a
change.
"Remember a time when something was real to you",
"Remember a time when you were in good
communication",
"Remember a time when you knew some affinity was
present"
This is done by creating an ENTIRELY
FICTITIOUS SERIES of past and future incidents,
since TRUTH, when it means MEST Universe, is the total agreement with the past.
This is done by changing the list using only the concepts, such as:
a) "A TIME WHEN SOMETHING WAS
(WILL BE) REAL TO YOU",
b)
"A
TIME WHEN YOU WERE (WILL BE) IN GOOD COMMUNICATION",
c) "A TIME WHEN YOU KNEW
(WILL KNOW) THAT SOME AFFINITY
WAS (WILL BE) PRESENT"
(6)
OPPOSITE POLES PROCESSING.
The previous processes are more than adequate to create certainty about your
own universe, they are enough to
give certainty about the MEST Universe, but
they are not enough to be sure about the "universe
of the other individual".
Certainty is needed about the three universes. In this respect, the
process over opposite poles is quite important.
There are two phases:
a) The first is linked to Certainty Processing:
PUT AN IMAGINARY POINT IN FRONT OF YOU AND MAKE THAT POINT THINK
"I WILL DESTROY YOU". THEN THINK TO THE POINT
"THERE'S NOTHING THERE."
Next:
DO THE SAME WITH AN IMAGINARY POINT BEHIND YOU, THEN ABOVE YOU,
BELOW, ON EACH SIDE, ONE PLACE AT A TIME.
You
can also make them think
"I'M GOING TO BETRAY YOU" AND "I'M NOT GOING TO ANSWER."
For
each point end by thinking to the point
"THERE IS NOTHING THERE".
Make
the dots think of all sorts of threats or antagonisms and end each one with the
thought "There's nothing there." Vary the position of the points.
b) The second is a resolution of valences. His
name is "WEARING HEADS".
MAKE
A LIST OF PREVIOUS ALLIES, PETS, ENEMIES, CURRENT
RELATIONSHIPS, WIFE OR HUSBAND, AND OBJECTS.
Then,
one after another:
CREATE A MENTAL COPY (MOCK-UP) OF THE OTHER PERSON OR THING OVER YOUR HEAD OR AROUND YOU.
This
is done quickly.
If
there are some "heads" that you can't wear or if you get one "stuck"
and can't "undress" it, REMEMBER THAT THIS IS THE LAST
PROCESS ON THE LIST AND YOU CAN GO BACK TO THE "TEN MINUTES OF
NOTHING" AND DO THEM ALL AGAIN.
